Francais translation

Recommended Posts

  • 9 months later...

Hi,

I just love x2crm, the best free crm I've seen !

Would love to help translate for French, but I have only 2 major problems:

1-To set web lead / service case form a language - for dual language need is a major problem for me.

2-Quotes (and i guess invoices) print out are showing special ASCII caracter (é, etc.) weird stuff (ex. De Lanaudière   è = Ã¨ )

(Adding this to the HTML code fix it: <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" />)

Thanks for your help!

Julien

Hi Julien,

1) That's an issue we hadn't really considered yet... I'm going to add a feature request for having a language selector on Web Lead forms if that makes sense to you. They generally have a small amount of text so I don't think it would be problematic to translate the form into all of our available languages and then let the end user select which one to see it in. The feature request can be seen here: http://x2software.com/index.php/bugReports/148

2) Thanks for the heads up on that, I'll see about getting it included as a permanent fix.

Also, before you do any translation work, I really really really recommend waiting until the next release which should be going out either today or tomorrow. I've made some massive updates to the translation files that will make your life significantly easier.

Hi Phil,

This issue was actually re-introduced a few months back due to a change in the way we handle the print layout, but has been patched and it will be fixed in the 5.2.2 release coming out this week.
