Just updated to 3.3.2 using the web panel. Am unable to add contact with following error:

Please fix the following input errors: Visibility cannot be blank.

There doesn't seem to be any field in the form (front or back end) which is called visibility.

Javascript Console appears to be empty.

Thanks.

Mike

Hmm,

So Visibility isn't on your Contact form? Can you add it to the form? This is just a data validation error. By default Visibility is a required field and is actually used in a lot of places... I would see if you can put it on the form via the Form Editor.

Done, Jake. Visibility is there now, but uneditable from the user (Admin, in this case) side. And same result.

Do you mean you're still getting the error? And if it's unintentionally uneditable, go into the Form Editor, select the field, set the "Read Only" to "Yes" and save it. Then, set it back to "No" and save it and that should ideally make it editable.

Okay went in and edited (customized) the "visibility" field and unchecked required so am able to save contact, BUT it seems to be stuck at private.

That worked, Jake. Back in business again. Thanks, as usual. You are the best.

Ok, I had the same problem and got it to work now. So you have to have the VISIBILITY field on every form. Under Form Editor, drag the Visibility field onto your form and it'll fix the problem.
