Improvements in web lead forms

Yes, actually. I believe a web lead form designer similar to the studio is in the works for the pro version of the software (you can always just edit the HTML yourself, though). As for validation, I think we can make it offer some more feedback, as it wouldn't be too difficult. Validation rules are applied based on what type of field it is, so a field with the type "email" in the x2_fields table will have email validation rules applied, for example.


Custom validation rules would be interesting but a bit harder to implement, what we'd likely do if we chose to develop this is give you a set of validation options for each field from a pre-defined list of available validation formats.


I'll talk to my colleague who is working on the web lead form about getting more feedback for validation failures.
