Morning,

I have reported this before but cant seem to find it under bugs:

I have a issue that when one has a group for example "everyone"  and you have defined a Roll with the standard session timeout of 60min.

Should you edit that timeout say to 120min. the system saves the session timeout as blank/nothing/zip/nada. The net effect is that session never times out,

So when the user logs in again it creates another session,  I have to go in weekly to clear active sessions one by one from the past.

I really need some help on this please:

I am happy to run a cron to clear these or manually edit files where needed, if tell me how to do this please

X2 ver 6.9.3

PHP ver 5.6

Centos 7.1

Thanking you in advance as always

Hi Isaiah,

Thanks for the reply ( well sort of ),  its clear that you don't read properly.

Whenever I file a problem I take the trouble to provide adequate information so that the scene is clearly set.

Unfortunately,  90% of the time we get a half baked reply such as above ......

I asked.. if there are any temp workarounds to clear these sessions ?    Could you kindly address this part please or at-least refer this to someone that could shed some light hereon

thanking you again in advance

Attila

As a temporary work around I have edited the timeout in the databases x2-rolls section

Be aware if you make any changes via Admin - User Management - Rolls  the session timeout  is  disabled again
