Seasons Greetings everyone

I upgraded from a fully functional x2 v6.9 to 6.9.1 which caused the system to stop sending SMTP emails  out

When editing a email and you push send you get the "wheel/progress circle" going round and round until one cancels the action, and no email is sent.

When one goes into Profile - Manage Apps the system throws out a Error-500, you can delete the, in my case the google email app and recreate it but the same result occurs

Your insight will be greatly appreciated, I am going live in January and would like to do so with ver 6.9.1

In the meantime, please replace your old copy of protected/components/behaviors/EmailDeliveryBehavior.php with the version located here: https://github.com/X...eryBehavior.php

For me I cant even get email out when sending from a contact. But the error code seems to indicate my firewall or spam settings on my server. Investigating now.

Hello All,

We apologize for any issues that may have occurred in 7.0 with regards to email and will release a hot-patch very soon. With regard to the XVERP issue, please do the following:

     * @link http://www.postfix.org/VERP_README.html Info on VERP
     * @var boolean
     */
    public $do_verp = false;

in protected/components/phpMailer/class.smtp.php

as well as in protected/components/phpMailer/class.phpmailer.php:

/**
     * Whether to generate VERP addresses on send.
     * Default is set to true for bounce handling
     * Only applicable when sending via SMTP.
     * @link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variable_envelope_return_path
