Hi Guys,

I've created a campaign that uses a variable in the subject line, but when I send a test email, it's not replacing that variable. The ones in the body are being replaced fine, but the subject isn't.

When the campaign is sent, the variable is replaced correctly.

Can you please take a look into that? It's a little freaky to send a campaign like that!

I'm using version 6.9.

Warmest regards,

Andrew

Hey PublishItNow,

So your variable is replacing in the actual campaign, but not in the test email? And which variable are you using?

The subject line is The Business Flyer {c_Booking.c_bfAd.c_bfFlyerData.c_CurrentMonth}

The variable gets replaced when I send out a live campaign, but when I click the send a test email button to check it, the test email is sent with the variable still in the subject line.

Warmest regards,

Andrew

Ah, I see, that may be an error on X2's part. We can try to have that fixed. In the meantime, I would suggest other means of testing before sending out a live campaign

I currently have a test Contact List with my own email in it which I use to test email campaigns while I'm doing development work, it's a simple work around.

Thankyou! Looking forward to the 7.0 release. I'm excited to see what you guys are putting into it.
