Hey Guys,

So i've imported a large number of contacts to my system however, now i need to create relationships to a new module that i created called "Company" & Accounts.

As their are a large number of contacts, companies and accounts is their a quick way of linking all the modules together through the front end or is their a way of relating the modules through the back end.

Thanks

Hello,

You can create relationships via our API as documented here: http://wiki.x2crm.com/wiki/REST_API_Reference#Relationships

This might be helpful if you're looking for a way to write a quick script to update all the links between records. If they already have the right fields set, you could do something to grab all the contacts, lookup the account based on their account field, create a relationship and then move on to the next one.

You can also create relationships on the relationships graph by simply clicking, but I haven't used that as much so I don't know how helpful it will be on a large data set.

Hello.  Wanted to ask to ask a related question here.  I am having an issue with creating relationships between records.  For example, I go to a contact (i.e. http://XXXXXX/index.php/contacts/id/3091) and select 'create a new relationship' under relationships and the screen does not provide me with a way to create a new relationship.  Using 'inspect element' in my browser, the below error is displayed.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!
