  1. Email is a wonderful communication tool but in light of other communication tools "dated" (depending on your generation). Other social media tools provide avenues of communication and maybe avenues for campaigns. X2 could (should??) integrate with the major players in social media and SMS messaging. I'm not asking for all of them (right now) but Facebook, Twitter and SMS messaging would be a nice start with more to follow.
  2. I uploaded a png file but the file was corrupt and now I get a 500 error whenever I try to view it. I am unable to remove this file - has anyone seen this before? Can someone please tell me how I can remove the file? I tried deleting it on the server side but the file still appears in the media section. Error Code: 500 Error Message: htmlspecialchars() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given Stack Trace: PHP warning in /data/upload/framework/web/helpers/CHtml.php(108) #0 /data/upload/framework/web/helpers/CHtml.php(108): htmlspecialchars() #1 /data/upload/protected/components/formatte
  3. I have done a global export, from 5.3 and uploaded to version 6.01. Post migration the attachments cannot be found. It is referencing the fact that they are there, which is a plus as it knows that something should be attached to that record, but alas it cannot locate. The versions are held on separate servers and therefore we copied the documents across in the background, to the correct destination. Is there something I am missing?
  4. Excellent upgrade features since I visited last V2.8... I would like to be able to create a preview quick look for other mime types besides jpg and png (basically PDF, SWF and SVG along with adobe products- ai, eps, tiff, indd... etc). Several questions 1) Can I incorporate imageMagick into a module workflow to handle multiple size and types for previews. 2) Can a separate volume on the same server be used as a repository for image and document files, which would allow room for the documents and images to grow and to allow for versioning of files. 3) I understand that Yii is upgrading to
  5. Hello, I got another feature request. I would like to be able to "Replace" an uploaded Document! So when downloading one document I don't need to upload another Document and delete the old I can simply replace them. Thanks
  6. Out of the box X2 comes with many media files. I am assuming X2_Notification.mp3 is needed, however call all the rest be deleted? Regards, Glenn
  7. Need a help on this issue on Opportunity and Service module. When users attach files/photos, the files are not visible at all by users, only the admin can see the attachments.
  8. Sorry if this has been posted before. I'm quite surprised with as complete as X2 already is that there isn't a native embedded player for media types such as MP3, MP4 etc. Just as I can preview a jpg, png media type directly inside X2, it would be very helpful to be able to preview in app audio/video prior to downloading.
  9. If this already exists then ignore this I tried this in the Demo site and had similar issues. Our sales guys are required to upload pdf copies of various documents to opportunities and accounts. But it doesn't seem to give a list anywhere on those files. What happens: While viewing an opportunity I click on the Upload file link on the left and upload a file via the form that appears under the Relationships box. Then the only way I can get back to it is if I go to media and look that way or by seeing the list of global file uploads on the right hand activity feed, media section. Ther
