Hi guys, is there a way to set the default system font for new emails, docs and templates to something like Verdana. The email defaults to Times and one has to change it manually to something else. We use Verdana as default. it would help greatly with generating emails. Thanks Eugene

Hey Guys, I'm currently helping out a few people with X2 and "acting" as their tech-support lol. Here's the current situation. One of my Clients had X2. Email Marketing didn't work whatsoever. So we updated to the newest version. This was a month ago. Re-set up all the SMTP connections and email started working. Then I tried scheduling a campaign to launch. And every time, it seems that it doesn't go off automatically. So I've been manually launching them with the "Launch Now" button. Hi all, After having used 6.2 (on premise, licensed) for years, my company decided to try out 8.0 open source edition to kick the tires before considering a full upgrade. While most things work as expected, I am seeing a few quirks that I don't know how to work around. Most frustrating is that I can't seem to send a test message for a campaign. My steps to reproduce are: Make a list of a few contacts Make a new campaign with some test email, and assign the newly-created list. Version: X2CRM 6.0.3 I have managed to make the changes to the 2 files mentioned in: https://github.com/X2Engine/X2CRM/commit/d87ecb69e470721c45b7d206b8dab74437595541 & https://github.com/X2Engine/X2CRM/commit/929519b2044d4dc4ca7549642ef8d0cc72e14ab6 I can now get attachments when email arrives in the X2CRM inbox. BUT once I log the email to the user profile, the attachment is not seen in the user profile email section, but it's still seen in the inbox of X2CRM. I do understand, I'm running an older version. I'm on a VPS, with Kualo hosting, www.floridashortsalerealestate.com/crm but the email server for the address I'm using is on Godaddy. I inputted the following email credentials and it gave me an authentication success. Smtp: smtpout.secureserver.net Port: 80 Security: None IMAP: imap.secureserver.net Port: 993 Security: TLS However, when I go to configure my inbox, I get the following error: Failed to open IMAP connection. I'm having a problem where, if I try to launch an email campaign, I get a white screen and "This page isn't working, _____ is currently unable to handle this request, HTTP ERROR 500". What can I do to fix this? Thanks.

Just wondering if I can use X2 (version 7.1) as an email client? For example, can X2 replace Outlook? If yes, how do I set this up? I have entered a couple of email addresses and was wondering how to use them in X2 as a stand alone email client. I clicked on the Email link under the Actions Module and Received the following (see screen shot; attached) Where/how can I add this to my community edition?

I have created a form which captures a minimal amount of information (name and email) and using automation based on tags the lead is added to the correct newsletter. I want to also send them a thank you email with the PDF ebook that will be the whole reason for signing up. How do I do that?

Using Version 7.1 [have the same problem with Version 7] (community). I set up an email account using 'Manage Apps'. The account gets validated. When I save I receive a Error 500 message (see screenshot). I'm sure it's somewhere in documentation - but I have been unable to find where/how I setup an email notification for when a new contact is added to the system and assigned to a person or a Process is started. We have a 3rd party service who is doing telemarketing, entering the contact into the system for us and assigning it to our sales queue - but we'd like to receive a notification when someone adds it so I can ensure things are going at the pace it's being entered and not "batched" up at the end or beginning of the day. Can someone point me to where this is? Thanks

Hi, I haven't used X2 since around Christmas time. I have now tried to end an email and can neither send a test, nor actual, email. When I try to send a test email, I get a red banner saying "Test email sent could not be sent to [my email address]". When I try to send an actual email, it just displays 0/0, no matter how many contacts are actually in the target list. If anyone has any suggestions on what is causing this, (and can explain it in layman's terms, as I'm not the most tech savvy!) then I'd greatly appreciate it. Kind regards, Portia

With X2CRM, when I send an Email to a contact, I see this email in the zone "Emails" of my contact page an don the page "Email", which is perfect. * However, when one of my contacts sends me an email, I see this email in the zone "Emails" of the "Contact" page but it is marked as "sent by me" and not by my contact ! I recently added ssl certificates to the wcc-tech.com domain but when I try to access email from the X2CRM application, I get the following error: Failed to open IMAP connection. Please check your email configuration and ensure that your email credentials are valid. The error given was: Certificate failure for mail.wcc-tech.com: Server name does not match certificate: /OU=Domain Control Validated/OU=PositiveSSL/CN=md-34.webhostbox.net -Configure your personal email inbox- Any help in sorting this out is appreciated.

I cannot get either my personal email or google suite email account to authenticate. We of course want our business accounts working with this new installation of X2crm however when we try to authenticate it fails. I have logged into my google suites and reset my password there and tried again at X2crm and still failed. Just to see if it would work I tried my personal gmail account and the same thing is happening. I then decided to try my yahoo account with the same results. My questions are 1. Is there another setting somewhere that I am missing in this setup? 2. I have a new server..

Is there a way to log an email in another contact besides the one that is sending or receiving the email. For example I am brokering a deal between contact1 and contact2. I have been unable to figure out how to mark a contact as "do not email". After some digging, I've realised there should be a simple check box present on the contact's page, but I don't have that. Can anyone explain to me how I fix this, or if there is another way to blacklist a contact from being included in a mass email? Thanks.

Hey, happy Friday.. Having email issues using version 6.9.3 and we are using Gmail (GSuite) and emails look like they are being sent but not being delivered. There seems to be a problem with the email template (optional) "to" email field Assumptions - your login email is "user@email.com" Action - create a email template, and set the (optional) "to email" field to "to@email.com" - create a webform, and set the "user" email to the above mentioned template - embed the form in a website, complete it and submit it Expected (I think, right ??) - an alert email notification/template sent to "to@email.com" Actual - an alert email notification/template sent

Our emails sent via automated flows are being duplicated to the client. Thus the flow when sending email sends multiple of the same emails to the contact. We have found conditions where it sent almost 15 of the same email to the contact immediately. The triggers for the flows differ from Macro triggers to just timed flows that duplicated the emails outbound. Has anyone had this. Its very disconcerting as contacts then immediately unsubscribe as X2 is spamming them. Thanks
