  1. I'm sure it's somewhere in documentation - but I have been unable to find where/how I setup an email notification for when a new contact is added to the system and assigned to a person or a Process is started. We have a 3rd party service who is doing telemarketing, entering the contact into the system for us and assigning it to our sales queue - but we'd like to receive a notification when someone adds it so I can ensure things are going at the pace it's being entered and not "batched" up at the end or beginning of the day. Can someone point me to where this is? Thanks

  3. Hi, I have recenty come back to X2 after not using it for a while and have been having some problems. I frequently import data, but want each import to be segregated into it's own list. The logical way to do this is to either add an automatic tag in each import and group data by tags, or to set the rules in the list to "Create date equals today". However, I have tried both of these methods to no avail. It seems the rules are just not working. This means contacts from previous imports have made it into multiple lists, and have subsequently been sent duplicate emails. I can't see any pattern t

  5. I attempted to convert a lead to a contact. I was notified of 6 errors because the fields did not exist in the Contacts module as they did in the Leads module. I then created the field necessary in the Contacts module. I converted a lead to a contact again and this time it was successful. However, some data did not transfer such as phone number and email. What could be the problem?
  6. All of my contact imports have SIC codes attached to them. I'd like to be able to organise the contacts by SIC code, so I can see all contacts that have the same SIC code ID. Is this possible, and, if so, how? Thanks, Portia.
  7. I have problem in Action and Contacts. In Action module if I create a action which is set Assigned to a User (Person with limited access) with Visibility set to User's Group, then the assigned action is visible to the particular assigned TO person alone(similar like Visibility Private). But in the case of Contact Module If I create a contact which is set Assigned to a User(Person with limited access) with visibility set to User's Group, then the contact is visible to the Contact created person as well as the assigned to user also.   9. We've noticed lately that a lot of our contacts are being entered in upper case. Is there a way to automate the system to change all contact names to proper (mixed) case? Thanks.
  10. I have been unable to figure out how to mark a contact as "do not email". After some digging, I've realised there should be a simple check box present on the contact's page, but I don't have that. Can anyone explain to me how I fix this, or if there is another way to blacklist a contact from being included in a mass email? Thanks.

  14. Hi All, Recently download and install x2crm. it is an awesome tool. While using I am stuck at some point that I am unable to assign contact from all contacts grid view. I am selecting a contact -> click on more -> add action then pop open for add action fill the form and assign to any user then receive msg "action added to one record" but "Assigned to" column not change on the grid and user whom to assign received the notification of "New record assigned to you:" but in contact grid, no contact shown.   15. How to get emails associated with the contacts they are sent to? and/or correctly make the INBOX Sent folder as the SENT BOX with sent-to names showing? Emails sent by me to contacts are not associated with those contact records. They are associated with me, the sender, but not the receiver, but only some of them are associated.   16. It is a bug, if the system list two contacts with same First Name and Last name, it will show it is duplicate. Sounds wired, but in India or middle east country, this is so normal. The system must use email ID to identify it.

  23. Hey Community, got a question about importing Contacts. I got some excel lists that I renamed to csv but they can't be imported. what I did: I exported all contacts and that deleded all contact entries inside the exported file and inserted the new contact information! Than when reimporting the new contacts, x2engine is always telling me that all contacts failed to import. I didn't change the "ID" field first than I even changed the first 2 entries to number above all my contacts, but this didn't work either! Any Idea on how this works?
