Hi I contacted support and my understanding is that there is no way X2 itself can do regular automatic backup. How do you manage that? How did you set it so your backup files are created and safe so you can restore your X2 application when needed. I'll be installing X2 on linux server in a cloud. Thank you Radek

Hi I want to have sales divided by region. Let's say North and South region. And I don''t want them to be able to see each other's customers and leads. I can manage to set it up the way I want using roles. But the roles contain the same permission. I find it too timely to set up new group or update all of them if I want to tweak it. Is there a way to clone a group or have parent group or set up the whole thing simpler way? Thank you Radek

Widgets are small windows on the right of X2Contacts, such as Message of the Day and Chat. Note: adding widgets is an advanced topic and should only be done by a competent PHP developer. Programming the widget can be as simple or as complex as you like; you could just add a permanent link, or it could be an AJAX-enabled control panel for a custom module. Hey Guys, Hope you can help i've recently noticed that since i upgraded my x2engine that the delete function has disappeared from the front end. I can't delete anything the red cross for deleting has disappeared on every page & i am ADMIN so i should have access to everything. I have attached an image to show you how it looks now. Could anyone help me out as its a hassle having to delete entries from the database itself as we want the system to go live soon. Kind Regards Mohamed Hussein

hey guys, please see attached image. i'm currently using the Open Source version of X2crm however i'vefound a complication. My system is meant to show ID numbers for each contact however a comma is seperating the denominators which shouldnt be the case as it isn't a number its an ID. Where in the PHP files can i change the representation of the field. I have also attached an image as an example. Kind Regards

Hello, When I login as the Admin user, I can no longer see the Admin tab. I was able to do it about two weeks ago, but I'm not sure what changed. The Admin menu item is just missing -- It thinks my Admin account is a regular user. I'm running X2 CRM 2.5.2. When I try to navigate to the area that the admin interface should be (/index.php/admin/index) I receive the following error: Error 403 You are not authorized to perform this action. I've also attached a screen shot (and I've verified that it's not in the "More" dropdown. Please help and thank you! Kevin

Hello, We are in the process of setting up X2CRM on our servers and we've imported some accounts already. Now I would like to assign all the imported accounts to one certain user. Is this possible some how or do I have to go through all of them one by one? If not, would it be possible to assign them to a user via the import? If, let's say, we would remove them and import them once again. Thankful for any help. Best regards, Magnus

Hi, I have lost the admin user after changing the username. When I installed X2engine I put in my own username as administrator, but afterwards I realized that in the open source version there can only be one admin. OK, that is fine. I then change my username to admin and create an new acoount for me. But the problem is, I have now lost the admin account after the username change. I can login with the new username but I cannot do anything. I only see a column with some text and not usually UI How can I get it back - Can I at least change it back to my username and make it work again or

I am not sure I am doing something wrong, but we cannot get any other user account to be able to create a workflow except Admin. Certainly no customer is going to give Admin to all their people needing workflows It maybe a bug, but also a simple process as well. I cant see in the console how I easily and intuitively provide these rights as an Admin Cheers

Recently in the support forums there was a suggestion to come up with an alternate method of updating to the remote updater. It would be good to know how many more people think this would be a useful feature. The method would essentially be a feature in the application where one would upload a zip file to the server and the application runs all the necessary operations to upgrade. hi, i want to use x2engine for generate leads and make sales by my agents. so that i want all users data personal ,so one user should see and manage only his data, and all contacts ,account ,sales created by the particular user must be visible to only that particular user who created this,expect if the user assign to any other user and by default it should not be assigned to anyone . but here i can't find a perfect solution for that. is it possible by creating a new routing rule for lead distribution ? and i want to create such new admins ( user with special permissions ) who can

I need that some users (managers) can override limited visibility of actions, contacts, etc. (like admin). It can be a sort of admin group or similar. thank you.
