Start workflow when user added to list
wirespring replied to wirespring's topic in Community Support
The trigger is "Action completed" and the parameter is "On List", $listname Is there a lower-level log than what appears on that one screen when you click the "Show Trigger Logs" button? If not I have nothing to share, because there are no logs shown when I manually or dynamically add a user to $listname Thanks! -
Hello, I've been using X2 for a while to do simple things like send email campaigns and manage contact lists. I would like to graduate to some simple workflows now and am having a little trouble. The workflow I'm trying to test right now is simple: start condition: [user On List "FOO"] next action: end So I created this workflow and attached the start condition to my list FOO, which had a single user already in it. As I expected, I didn't get a post to the activity feed. However, I then added a new user to the list (it's a dynamic list, if that makes a difference), and I also didn't get

Can't send test campaign emails in 8.0
wirespring replied to wirespring's topic in Community Support
Ok, as usual the issue was user error. I imported data that had leading whitespace, and apparently X2 doesn't strip that out. So I was searching for "Bob Jones" in the contact list, when in fact it was " Bob Jones " -
(8.0, open source edition) The link to the Contact List that appears on both the "All Campaigns" page (/index.php/marketing) and inside of a Campaign itself (e.g. /index.php/marketing/2) is incorrect. In my case my Campaign #2 is supposed to use Contact List #2, and the URL should be: https://dynamic.wirespring.net/index.php/contacts/list/id/2 however on both of the above pages the link generated is: https://dynamic.wirespring.net/index.php/list/id/2 which gives a 404 error. The links on the All Contacts List are fine.

Hi all, After having used 6.2 (on premise, licensed) for years, my company decided to try out 8.0 open source edition to kick the tires before considering a full upgrade. While most things work as expected, I am seeing a few quirks that I don't know how to work around. Most frustrating is that I can't seem to send a test message for a campaign. My steps to reproduce are: Make a list of a few contacts Make a new campaign with some test email, and assign the newly-created list. I have one custom variable (c_Salutation) and on regular variable (lastName), not that that should make a differenc

In chrome I just noticed this error on the console: Refused to execute script from 'https://my_x2_url/webTracker.php'because its MIME type ('text/html') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled. I can probably modify the .htaccess file in my X2 directory to make Apache serve it properly (as text/javascript, I'm guessing), but was wondering if there was an easy way to specify the MIME type from directly in the php file (I don't know the first thing about PHP or how/when different stages are set up and executed by Apache). Thanks!

Am I mistaken, or can a campaign only have one email message in it? Suppose I have a marketing campaign (in my company's parlance, not X2) called "End of year special". I would want to be able to send out maybe 4 reminder messages, perhaps a week apart, to the same group of people (excluding any opt-outs during that time, of course). To do that in X2, it seems like I would need 4 separate campaigns (in X2 parlance), one for each mail, that I could either fire off manually each week, or schedule with an X2Flow or our own webservice hookup to X2. Or am I just being obtuse and missing an obviou

As this ticket has gotten a good number of views, I thought I'd post an update: Since there doesn't seem to be a way to do this in X2CRM as of yet (I'm using 5.2.1), if you want to disable click tracking in one link (e.g. if you want to actually make a hyperlink for text that's a URL), the only option is to completely disable click tracking in Mandrill. This was OK in my one particular case since most of our outbound emails don't have hyperlinks in that form and we were able to re-enable Mandrill's click tracking for subsequent emails (since their reporting tools are current a bit more robus

Hello all, Is there a way to add the mc:disable-tracking tag to a href links in an email template? When I add the tag in source code view and save, it is automatically converted to mc:disable-tracking="" which the mandrill platform them seems to ignore.
