  10. Hi Denise, after using X2 for that last 12 years and currently still having almost 20 active commercial installs at customers, it is arguably the best CRM and most flexible platform to modify. I recently still used it as even in todays world, it is still the best and most inginuitive code I have worked with. It hasn't been actively supported recently which I also have an issue with, but the system has been so stable that even without an active support setup, i am still comfortable using X2 in most clients.
  11. Hello, we are evaluating open source CRM software and I see that the X2 community has gone quite silent. I am now wondering if this is still an option for a CRM implementation? I don't want to rely on outdated functionalities or find out this isn't even a viable CRM anymore.

  14. Hi, I have been chatting to X2CRM and will hopefully be able to shed some light soon on the future of the open source project. As a keen user with many installations it is quite high on my priority list to remain confident in the longevity of the software.
  15. Absolutely, adding subjects to your service list in X2CRM's mobile app would significantly improve usability. Seeing only numbers makes it difficult to identify and access the services you need. Consider suggesting this feature to the developers, highlighting the frustration of relying solely on numbers for navigation. Even simple subject prefixes, like "Order #123 - Client Meeting" or "Action Required - Update Report," would dramatically enhance clarity and efficiency within the app.
  16. Thanks Jack. When installing an instance the only available X2 install packages are 7.1 that we have. So I am forced to always install the 7.1 then do an update from within Admin menu. to 8.xx However on this method it is saying: Could not connect to the updates server, or an error occurred on the updates server.
  17. Hi Eugeneb, The update server is not offline. We will look into the issue you are running into. We are also working towards our 9.0 release and will have this issues fixed before then. We will reach out with a PM to determine the exact error you are getting when updating. -Jack
  18. X2Crm guys? Is the open source version still supported? I see the update server is offline so installing version 7.1 you can't upgrade even to 8.x? Any feedback?

  20. I upgraded my 1520 to DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 5 (from 7.0.x) yesterday and had a couple of problems: 1) I pressed the download and update button but then decided against it and hit (almost immediately) the cancel which it seemed to do. However, later in the day I was unable to access the UI and Synology Finder said the disks were "migratable" so it looks like the cancel didn't do what I expected or at least, the process isn't atomic. Not a massive problem but it doesn't seem right.
